1. Overview

The Cartridge Dust Collector, also known as Pulse Cartridge Filter, is a compact high-efficiency dry-type dust removal equipment, different from traditional baghouse dust collectors. It uses deep pleated filter cartridges instead of filter bags, featuring larger filtration area per unit volume and smaller overall size. The unique downward pulse cleaning mode blows dust off the cartridge surface directly into the bottom hopper without secondary adsorption. It is widely used for local dust collection, workshop centralized dust removal and fine powder recovery, becoming the preferred equipment for small and medium dust working conditions where bag filters are too large to install.

2. Working Principle

Dust-laden air enters the collector inlet and flows into the filter chamber. Fine dust particles are intercepted on the outer surface of the pleated filter cartridge, while clean air penetrates the cartridge and is discharged by the exhaust fan. When the cartridge resistance reaches the preset value, the PLC control system activates pulse valves. High-pressure compressed air jets downward to vibrate and peel off the dust cake on the cartridge surface. The fallen dust accumulates in the bottom hopper and is discharged manually or by matching small rotary airlock valves, realizing automatic circulating dust collection and cartridge regeneration.
