Stainless Steel Rotary Airlock Valve

1. Overview

The Stainless Steel Rotary Airlock Valve, also known as Stainless Steel Star Discharger, is a customized anti-corrosion version of the standard rotary airlock valve. Different from cast iron and carbon steel star dischargers prone to rust and chemical corrosion, the whole machine is fabricated with SS304 or SS316 stainless steel, including valve body, star impeller, end cover and fasteners. It achieves continuous quantitative material feeding and air pressure isolation, while solving rusting, material contamination and corrosive medium erosion problems. It is the preferred air-locking unloading equipment for sanitary, humid and corrosive powder/granule material processing lines.

2. Working Principle

Material flows into the stainless steel valve cavity from the upper flange inlet and fills the grooves between star-shaped impeller blades. The drive unit drives the impeller to rotate at a constant low speed, carrying materials downward and discharging them from the bottom outlet by gravity. The precision-machined blade gap forms a permanent air seal between the upper negative-pressure chamber and lower conveying pipeline. The full stainless steel structure avoids electrochemical corrosion and material adhesion, ensuring stable air locking and pollution-free continuous discharging for long-term operation.
